Oh, come in

It is an honor to have you. The contents for this blog are from my personal experiences. Sometimes I will write about being bipolar and sometimes I won't.

I have been Bipolar I for 10+years and medicated for over 9. This blog looks into my treatment history, current therapies, my interest, recipes, love, music, and everything in between. I am hoping that those dealing with mental illness will find comfort, friendship, awareness, entertainment, and maybe even a few good answers. Most importantly, I hope those of you out there struggling will realize you are not alone.

A New Way To Get to Know One Another

A fellow Blogger of mental health issues, Heather, has created a Facebook page Waiting 4 Sunshine.

If you would like to take part then visit Heather's blog post http://waiting4sunshine.blogspot.com/2012/10/support-group-on-facebook.html

I have already joined and really like it! So come on and try it out....if you decide it isn't for you then simply remove yourself from the FB page. It is that easy.

On another topic I am doing really well.  I am recovering well from my hysteroscopy/biopsy. The pain in my throat has eased after drinking a lot of broth and my abdomen is recovering from all the pressing the doctors had to do to reposition my uterus. Oh and to add a cherry on top my man let me get a new laptop today and I LOVE IT!

Though money is tight it is an early Christmas present. This one I will not break or spill anything on. And since I have access to my own computer I will most likely post more. So I hope you like to read what I have to write because there is a lot more to come!

PS: The picture is of my rose bush at the front corner of the house by the garage when it is in full bloom. I think it is lovely.
